Web 2.0 services have been central to the successful delivery of the THING Project. They have allowed partners spread between different landmasses and timezones to coordinate work, and have provided a place where interested parties can come together to work on and discuss material as if they were in the same physical location.  Web 2.0 services have facilitated face to face meetings, allowed the sharing of documents and other resources, and have provided a structural underpinning for the project.
