mobile web

How your landing pages should work

  • Your landing pages must be optimized for mobile phones and provide content at lowest possible data rate (a minimum of graphics)
  • Automatic language detection is recommended
  • If you use subheadings, your sections should expand (and collapse) by click (touch) to make longer text more user friendly.

Tip: If you publish your content on wikipedia.org and use the qrpedia.org add-on, you will get mobile optimization and language detection out of the box.

Guidelines for QR-services

Our thing sites are loaded with history. To mediate this knowledge to visitors, we can put up signs and provide "real-life" guiding to the public. A QR-guide does not replace these methods, but can add extra value to certain user groups. Done the right way, it is also a way to connect with visitors (community building), and lead them to explore and learn more.
